Packaging (Part 1)

May 16, 2007

My initial thoughts on this project were to make a set of boxes that all fit together based on one of those old toys that have 12 blocks that make up 6 pictures. When it became apparent that the items were going to be quite large and that I wouldn’t have 12 I had to have a rethink.

After some thinking and wandering round the shops looking at packaging and for inspiration I saw a flight case full of barbeque tools from Cargo. I bought it, took it home and stripped out the tools and part of the lining to accommodate my final pieces.
